I was born in Scunthorpe, a town in the north of England. I came to know the world’s greatest stars just like everyone else; by watching them on television and at the movies. I was inspired to such a point that, in my mid-20’s, I came to America to follow my dream. So with the rather nervous blessing of my dear Mum and Dad, I arrived at Miami Airport, bags ‘n’ baggage, knowing absolute nobody. (Gulp!)
As I began my journey, the American People showed me an unprecedented hospitality, warmth and generosity. Without these great people….I wouldn’t have made it. I have also been privileged to meet and perform with some of those stars I so adored as a “youngster” back in northern England. Only in this great nation could this happen!
